Good vs. Evil: The Fight by RichardKnightly Good vs. Evil: The Fight by RichardKnightly
Models: Emma Alexa and... Emma Alexa!
Photographer: Richard Knightly.

The backround shot is of the rooftops of Fulham, shot from a top floor window one particularly amazing night last year. A bit of intensification of the colour but that's not far off how it looked.

As for the two Emmas - let's just say this is probably the most planning I/we have ever done for a single image :) Getting the lights just so at the diferent angles was quite a trick. Hope you like it :)

Strobist info: Softbox camera left; gridded strobe camer right; beauty dish above on boom. Barn-door strobe on left to pick out highlights, with red gel to simulate the sunset. Lights raised & lowered to create the right lighting, given that the individual images were going to be rotated after being shot.

Processing in Capture NX2; montage in Paintshop Pro.

a bit ridiculous

but great work none the less, at taking a shot of a beautiful sky, and then composing all that stuff overtop, I'm going to guess 6 hours or even 8 to make this picture

I come back for another look months later, the existence of this expression still does something for me, to behold it

You've done more than just a few photos with this :)
